Make sure you head for the Freshers' Fayre, where you can sign up for KUSU's clubs and societies. This is a good way of making new friends and sharing interests as diverse as space exploration, dance, cult TV and sport, together with meeting people who share your religious or cultural background. KUSU is affiliated to the National Union of Students (NUS) which gives you national bargaining power and access to a range of free services and special offers. With your NUS card you can take advantage of discounts and concessions at restaurants, shops and cinemas.
